The formula combines 1% retinol with moisturising squalane. Retinol supports the skin’s natural renewal process and helps improve the visible appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone. Squalane helps strengthen the skin’s hydrolipid barrier, reducing dryness and supporting a softer, smoother and more supple complexion.

The serum has an ultra-light texture that absorbs quickly without leaving the skin feeling heavy. It is particularly suitable for experienced retinol users and mature or imperfection-prone skin.

How to use Skincyclopedia Retinol Serum

Apply in the evening to clean and completely dry skin.

During the first three weeks, use the serum three to four evenings per week while the skin develops tolerance. After this introductory period, adjust the frequency according to your skin’s response.

Apply a small amount evenly over the face, avoiding the eye area, eyelids and lips. Follow with a gentle moisturising cream if required.

Use a broad-spectrum facial sunscreen during the day throughout the period of use and for at least one week after discontinuing the serum.

For sensitive skin or first-time retinol users, beginning with one or two applications per week would be the more cautious approach.
